Rachel and I went to see Vampire Weekend this past Tuesday in Portland. The show was short, but great. We had a spot right up front near the stage. They played most of their songs off their album and did a couple that they’ve recorded a few other places. It was a little difficult to get tickets, but well worth the trouble. My favorite song from the show was probably Walcott.

I upgraded Rachel’s blog to Wordpress 2.5 this morning and she immediately began running into trouble uploading files through the new interface. I quickly searched and found this solution. I believe she saw this error because her blog is not located at the root of her domain - she’s at http://rljart.com/blog/ instead of just being at http://rljart.com/. If you’re upgrading and your WP installation isn’t at the root of your domain you might need to create an .htaccess file and follow the directions.

I think this is a bug with SWFuploader and not Wordpress, actually.

I got my beta invite to fire eagle a couple days ago and have played around with the site and looked over the API docs. It’s gonna be a pretty cool service soon. You can’t do very much with it yet, but it is going to be a fantastic service once people start building on top of it. I haven’t had time to really build anything just yet, but am going to give it a try soon. If you want an invite, leave a comment and I’ll send you the link.
