I got my 34th friend today over at my MySpace. Can you guess who it is? Hint: I moved him to position #2.

And be on the lookout for my 35th friend coming soon. The 8th grader I mentor (I use the term loosely since all we do is talk about video games, cartoons, movies and manga) told me today he had a MySpace page, so as soon as his mom logs in and accepts my invite, I’ll one friend richer.

Earlier this year I took and passed the Zend Certified Engineer examine for PHP 4. Zend recently came out with a new version of their exam for PHP 5. I took the test for PHP 5 on Halloween and just heard back today that I passed. For whatever it’s worth…

We won the flag football championship tonight in the pouring rain. I unfortunately didn’t get to play much more than a couple downs due to an injured hamstring. Tomorrow is picture day at work, you can be sure the four foot trophy will find its way into more than a couple of those pictures.

Introducing: The brand new, devolved Mechroboticon. It doesn’t have RSS feeds, spam blocking, a way to edit posts or even authentication, but it will in time. I am going to use the blog to document my Zend Framework usage. If that topic doesn’t interest you just stay here and continue to read about how much I like Wilco/Jeff Tweedy/Ryan Adams/etc…

One of the features on the new Jeff Tweedy DVD is the ability to download all the songs from the DVD and a few bonus tracks. My favorite track from the DVD is a new song called The Thanks I Get. Before going to the show in February, I had never heard the song. I think what I like most is the guitar and crowd participation.
