The Rain
<p>It is raining like crazy down on The Plaza tonight. It is really cool. When the rain really started to come down, I decided to move our cars into the parking garage, just in case the hail starting pouring from the sky. I got drenched running out to my truck and it took about 15 minutes waiting in the garage to finally find a spot. I had to park all the way up on the fifth floor. Then I ran down and got <a href='http://rljart.com'>Rachel’s</a> car and headed back into the parking garage, also parking it on the fifth floor.
Water is running through the street like its a river. Down on 48th street the water was nearly 1/4 of the way up the tires of the parked cars. Bryan Busby says we got nearly 1.5 inches in less than 45 minutes and The Plaza is the one place in Kansas City you don’t want to be right now. I guess he think all the water is going to run toward Midtown.
Anyways, it is lightning pretty good right now, but we’re staying dry inside.
