<p><a href='http://apple.com'>Apple</a> unveiled its newest <a href='http://www.apple.com/macosx/tiger/'>operating system</a> today and with it a bunch of new features. One that I found particularly amusing was one called <a href='http://www.apple.com/macosx/tiger/dashboard.html'>Dashboard</a>. Dashboard is nothing more than <a href='http://konfabulator.com'>Konfabulator&#8217;s</a> <a href='http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=doppelganger&#38;r=67'> doppelganger</a>. I used Konfabulator some last year and enjoyed it, but I think Dashboard will be better, mostly because it will be free with the O/S and more widely used. The funny thing about Dashboard is that on Konfabulator&#8217;s website it says, &#8216;Cupertino, start your photocopiers.&#8217; That is funny because earlier this week, Apple released PR slogans with, among other hits on Microsoft, &#8216;Redmond, start your photocopiers.&#8217;</p>
