   <p>now lee, i know you have thought this over through ever detail, but are you SURE you want digital8, i have a digital8 and wish i had minidv. minidv are so much smaller. i am guessing you want the digital8 because you can put your old hi8 tapes in and digitally transfer to your computer. this is just a thought, but you would be able to run your old hi8 camcorder through a new minidv and then to the computer. of course you would have an unnoticealbe loss of quaulity for those few transfers, but also have a minidv camcorder instead of digital8. just a thought.</p>
