something new in php
<p>today i started a new php project (for those of you keeping count, i haven’t exactly finished any of the others i have written about). this new project uses the <a href='http://apache.org'>apache</a> <a href='http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/logs.html'>access_log</a> in combined format and <a href='http://php.net'>php</a> to find the stats for a given site. basically all i have done so far is write a few <a href='http://us2.php.net/manual/en/ref.regex.php'>regular expresssions</a>, but it is coming along pretty nicely. my inspiration for this project comes from <a href='http://awstats.sourceforge.net/'>awstats</a>. by writing the project in php, installation will be much easier if php is already installed. maybe i will actually finish this project.</p>
