free photographs
<p><img src='/wp-content/11085_1115_2.jpg' alt='11085_1115_2.jpg' class='normal' />recently i happened across the <a href='http://www.sxc.hu/'>stock.xchng</a>, a site containing thousands of free images. basically they are pictures, but they are broken up by category and they seem to be a bit better than just someone’s online photo gallery. my favorite category is the <a href='http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=s&c=1'>art and architecture</a> gallery, mostly because they are images from foreign countries. the server load has more than doubled in the month that i have been using this site.</p>
